CAKE CARE TIPS

Handling

Pick up your cake from the bottom of the box, not from the sides, to prevent any damage. When you're holding the cake, try to keep it as level as possible and avoid tilting the box.

Transport

Place the cake on a level surface (such as in the footwell of your car) and drive carefully.

Cakes can collapse when exposed to heat, so make sure your vehicle is cool - turn your heating off or your air-con on to prevent the cake from melting.

Storage

It is important to store your cake in the refrigerator, particularly during warmer months. Cakes should be served at room temperature, so take the cake out for 1-2 hours before serving to allow the cake to fully come to room temperature. If stored in a hot room for too long, the buttercream will soften/melt and the cake will collapse.

Cupcakes should be stored at room temperature. I recommend eating cupcakes within 24-36 hours of collection. They can be transferred into an airtight container to prevent them from drying out.

CAKE CARE TIPS

Brownies, Blondies and Cookies

Storage

For the best experience, store in an airtight container and consume within 3-5 days (if they last that long!). Brownies and blondies can be kept in the refrigerator to extend their shelf life. Cookies should be stored at room temperature.

Tip: microwave for 30 seconds - 1 minute for a 'fresh out of the oven' experience!

You can freeze your items for up to 1 month. Allow them to thaw completely and consume the same day. Do not re-freeze.
